Meet Sarah Shaver

My creativity blossomed when I was just a little girl. I used to take clay from the river and fashion birds that I later discovered looked similar to clay whistles that I found in a book of Native American artwork. I have always been fascinated with nature, spirituality and indigenous people and their culture. My love of clay has inspired many different creative pathways.

My work with clay aligns me to spirit and as I work with a piece I am connected to source. Each item is unique and in a way a part of me.

My love for animals inspires my artwork and the teachings from indigenous cultures has influenced my relationship to totems, spirit guides and even the clay itself.

I am now expanding and offering personal sculptures of your pet. Please use the contact section and attach at least 3 clear photographs. (face/front, side, back) Describe any traits, favorite toy, places and activities you feel would help in the creation. My work involves establishing a physic connection and I use this communication to capture the essence of your pet in the piece. Size ranges from 5 to 10 inches tall and price will be established accordingly. (~$50-$125 not including shipping) It takes at least 2-3 weeks to create, dry, fire and glaze. Any questions can be discussed during the process.

I work at my home in Boulder Creek California surrounded by the majestic redwoods and this beauty inspires me to make and provide the work that you see.
